The Holy Spirit Empowered The Early Church Part 7 of 10

Romans chapter 5 and verse 5 says  And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.You do not know how to properly love until the Holy Spirit has come into your heart.Notice that it says the Holy Spirit has been given to us.It is a gift, and you can never earn a gift. Because by definition a gift is something that required nothing on your part.God’s gift which is the Holy Spirit is the best gift anyone can ever be given.That’s why Ephesians chapter 1 says  And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
