HOME tells the story of the phenomenal reversal of a fifty year trend of African Americans moving en mass. This time they are moving back to the south, in what is now officially titled The New Great Migration. HOME connects the dots between the Old South of the 20th century, and the New South of the 21st century. MORGAN FREEMAN and MAYA ANGELOU share their migration stories, and why they are among the nearly 60% of the black population in the U.S., who have come back HOME to the south.
