We Want To Hear From YOU!Does Humility Still Exist in a World Focused on Social and Self Promotion?The increase in self-esteem has corresponded to a decrease in humility. More and more we see people wanting fame, wanting to be noticed, wanting to be considered important, wanting eyes on them.Unfortunately, we see this exalted from the pulpit to penthouse to the house projects. The spirit of arrogance, bodaciousness, and self-centeredness are all ploys and tactics that fall contrary to the will and ways of God. As a matter of fact these are the characteristics of Satan Himself and what prompts God to dismiss Him from Heaven.Satan was kicked out of heaven because of pride. He desired to be God, not to be a servant of God. We see this mentality exalt now in our political leaders, amongst entertainers and  common folk who have created and become profit off false depictions of reality.If you read Isaiah 14:12-15, you will see the extent of Satan’s arrogance, just reading it made me quench.  In a boastful and arrogant manner he spoke these words:   “I will ascend to the heavens;  I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,  on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;  I will make myself like the Most High.”Satan was likely the highest of all angels, the anointed cherub, the most beautiful of all of God’s creations. In Ezekiel 28:13 the scripture infers that Satan was a master musician as the scripture boasts of  his workmanship of your timbrels and pipes”.But he was not content in his position. Instead, Satan desired to be God, to essentially “kick God off His throne” and take over the rule of the universe. Satan wanted to be God.Now not too many of us are bodacious enough to declare we want to actually be God, but our actions, pretensions, and since of entitlement declares it for us as we see to be worshiped by other, even revered, with all eyes on us, we want our voice to heard over everyones else and we seek to be served and a servant.A godly humility  means being able to recognise that you are not the most important person in any given scenario. This could be with your partner when discussing a recent argument or in the workplace in a meeting when you let someone else have their five minutes. Humility has become a rare quality to find in someone, as the act of being humble requires modesty and self reservation and these two attributes can be easily confused with being passive, insecure or submissive.God’s idea of humility is not for us to downplay the magnificence in which He created us for we are incredible beings as we were made in the very image of God.“Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less.” Support the showwww.BibleDeliverance.org
