Whether it's tackling suspects, locating explosives, uncovering narcotics, or rescuing victims, K9s are fearless heroes willing to sacrifice it all to ensure our safety. Their service is not without consequences, and their work often results in health problems which lead to expensive veterinary costs that fall upon their handlers.
