The hood of a stroller/pram

I saw a picture of the hood on a stroller/pram. This brings to mind the Daily Picture devotional on Saturday 3rd last week in reference to 1 Corinthians 13 about Love. Verse 7 says love always protects and some translations says love bears all; the original Greek implies to "roof over, keep silent". Sometimes a hood on a baby pram has to be folded back. With the focus on the hood, and not on a baby, why do we sometimes have to pull away our protection, our silence? Well, Jesus also tells us that if we are not wanted, we need to move on. "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet" (Matthew 10:14). This provides us with a good balance of always being kind, patient and silent in not passing judgement or raking over the past but also knowing when to take ourselves and our protective love away which is when it is clear that we are not wanted.
