The Hoosier Hysterics! - FRED GLASS

from The Hoosier Hysterics Podcast

In 2008 Fred Glass was hired as IU A.D. to salvage a dispirited athletic department reeling from the tragic loss of Terry Hoeppner and firing of Kelvin Sampson. Fred accomplished so much more than that, leading over a decade of astounding growth and unprecedented success, both athletically and academically, for all 24 teams representing his beloved alma mater. By the time he handed the reins to Scott Dolson, Fred had secured his legacy as one of the most important Hoosiers of our time, and thus the IU President's Medal of Excellence was bestowed upon him..And yet his achievements beyond Bloomington are equally impressive. At age 29 he was Chief of Staff for Indiana Governor Evan Bayh. Later he was instrumental in the building of Lucas Oil Stadium, thus ensuring the Colts would stay in Indianapolis. He then went on to help his hometown secure the Super Bowl in 2012, and it's place in the permanent rotation for hosting the NCAA Final Four. Honestly, it's far too much to sum up here, so you best pull up a seat and have yourself a listen to all things Fred Glass.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
