The Hork-Bajir Chronicles - Prologue

from Animorphs Aloud

Prologue of The Hork-Bajir Chronicles, part 22.5 of Animorphs Aloud, a fan-produced read-aloud version of the Animorphs series. Summary: Before there were six Animorphs fighting a battle on Earth, there was a war between Hork-Bajir, Andalites, and Yeerks. But more than that, there was the story of Dak Hamee, a Hork-Bajir "seer", Aldrea, the daughter of disgraced Andalite Prince Seerow, and Esplin 9466, an ambitious Yeerk. Their decisions will affect not just their own futures, but the fate of entire species... Thanks for listening! Don't forget to support the official Animorphs audiobooks! This one is especially was well-done in my opinion! I was so impressed with all the narrators doing the gravelly Hork-Bajir voices, it's very taxing on the voice! SO sorry that this took extra time to release! I was going out of town earlier this week, but I was completely prepared by recording the first couple chapters ahead of time so I could work on/post them while I was away....then I had to go and ruin it by being completely inconsistent in how I pronounced Jara Hamee's name in the prologue! I kept flipping between Jah-rah and Jair-uh, my goodness. Got back last night, rerecorded eight lines, and here you finally go! Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar Entertainment Radio Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar was a classic American radio drama that aired on CBS Radio from February 18, 1949, to September 30, 1962. The show starred Bob Bailey as Johnny Dollar, a freelance insurance investigator with a knack for getting into trouble. Each episode followed Dollar as he investigated a new case, from insurance fraud to murder. The show was known for its fast-paced action, witty dialogue, and iconic sound effects. The show's signature element was Dollar's expense account, which he would read aloud at the end of each episode. This often humorous list of items, such as "50 cents for chewing gum - to keep my brain working under pressure," gave listeners a glimpse into Dollar's world and personality.
