The Hour has Come
from Pod Pastor Mike Hosted by Pastor Mike
In John 12:20-36, we encounter a pivotal moment in Jesus' ministry. As Greek-speaking Jews seek an audience with Him, Jesus declares, 'The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.' This passage invites us to reflect on God's perfect timing and our own readiness to respond to His call. We're reminded that Christ's willingness to submit to the Father's will serves as a powerful example for us in facing life's trials. The imagery of a grain of wheat dying to bear fruit challenges us to consider what we might need to let go of in order to bear spiritual fruit. As we navigate our faith journey, let's ask ourselves: Are we truly ready to follow Christ, even when it means sacrificing our own desires? How can we, as the body of Christ, be more active in worship, witness, and boldly sharing our faith?
