The House in the Middle of the Street: Jennifer Sklias Gahan on Storytelling Across Film, Vinyl & Page

In this episode of Plot Twist Radio, Erin sits down with New York-based actress, writer, and producer Jennifer Sklias Gahan to talk about building a creative life across mediums, from film and performance to immersive storytelling. Jennifer shares how her path evolved from journalism and acting into writing her new book, The House in the Middle of the Street, a haunting New Year’s Eve tale inspired by folklore, mythology, and historic New York. The project expands beyond the page, releasing in hardcover, audio, and even vinyl with a video storybook component; all narrated in her own voice. We discuss creative rituals, finishing over perfection, trusting instinct, and why some stories decide their own format. If you love atmospheric storytelling, creative process conversations, and art that crosses boundaries, this one’s for you.
