Honor is more than respect - it is a seed that determines what you are able to receive, carry, and become. In Matthew 10, Jesus reveals a powerful principle: when we honor what God has placed on another person's life, we position ourselves to receive from what He has placed in them. Proximity can give us the effects of anointing, but honor allows us to receive its essence. The seed of honor can unlock mantles, anointing, favor, wisdom, and spiritual inheritance. It changes the way we see our parents, leaders, pastors, brothers and sisters, and even the next generation. What we honor, we make room to receive, and what we dishonor, we can unknowingly block ourselves from carrying. Honor is not about agreeing with everything someone does. It is about recognizing the value, position, gift, and purpose God has placed in their life. And when we choose honor, even when it is difficult, we are sowing into our own future. What are you sowing into your future? Are you choosing honor even when you have the opportunity to choose offense, disrespect, or revenge? Today, choose honor.
