The Howe Sound System - August 3rd, 2013

We're soft and sweet this week on HSS. We soar with the angels with a couple tracks from Julianna Barwick and her choir of young angels. After that we swim with the whales as marine biologist and electronic musician Lisa Walker plays violin duets with wild whales. After the break we head into some eastern hiphop styles, starting off with a call to prayer from Philip Glass followed by some classic Vangelis. Up, Bustle and Out drop the sitar and hiphop and we finish off with some nice turkish beats from Gramatik. www.HoweSoundSystem.com www.facebook.com/howesoundsystem Tracklist: Julianna Barwick - Forever Phaeleh - Iscabe Piano Lisa Walker - Transfixed Lisa Walker - Winter Song Julianna Barwick - The Harbinger Philip Glass - From Egypt Vangelis - Tales of The Future The Kumba Mela Experience - Calcutta Delight Up, Bustle and Out - Emerald Alley Gramatik - The Drink Is Called Rakja Panjabi MC - Mundia To Bach Ke
