Today we're broadcasting from the beautiful Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville Michigan. Throughout the show, we were joined by some of the great folks from Crystal Mountain so they could fill us in on all of the fun and exciting things they have to offer you. We were also joined by some of our great insiders to talk about the Detroit Lions, Michigan and Michigan State Athletics, and more. We kicked off the show talking with Dan Miller who is the voice of the Detroit Lions. He and Huge talked about the injuries that the Lions have been hit with, talked about what they'll be looking for in tomorrow's pre-season game, talked about expectations for the season, and more. We were then joined by NFL Analyst Jim Miller to talk more about the Detroit Lions. He gave us his thoughts on when the Lions will take that next step, talked about some of the other teams in the NFC, and more. We were then joined by Arah Johnson who is in charge of activities and lodging at Crystal Mountain. She filled us in on some of Crystal Mountain's upcoming Fall events, told us about their spa days, and more. We wrapped up the hour with a Moving Ferris Forward interview as Huge spoke with Lisa Ortiz who is the Director of Residence Life at Ferris State. She joined us to tell us about their new residence hall that's right next to their Football field, told us what makes the hall different from others, and more. In our second hour, we were joined by Graham Couch from the Lansing State Journal. He and Huge talked about how year one is going for Pat Fitzgerald, they talked about what their expectations are for the team, they discussed the new MSU AD Dan Bartholomae and what they think he can bring to the table, and more. We were then joined by Mike Kimber from Chat Sports so he and Huge could talk about the Lions. They talked about the current injuries on the team, previewed tomorrow's pre-season game against the Commanders, and more. We were then joined by Karyn Thorr, who is the Chief Operating Officer at Crystal Mountain. She told us about their upcoming "Labor Day Live" event, talked about all the great things to do around Crystal Mountain, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by Lomas Brown who is one of the voices of the Detroit Lions. He and Huge talked about how the Lions have looked in camp, they looked ahead to tomorrow's game against the Commanders and what they would like to see, and more. We were then joined by John Maakaron from the Detroit Sports Podcast. He told us what he'll be keeping an eye on in tomorrows pre-season game, and more.
