The Human Factor: Courage – Empathy – Teamwork

from Unleash Your Inner Goldilocks: How to Get It Just Right! · host Dr. Kasthuri Henry

In a world that focusses on productivity and profits, the human factor is the common input. The uniqueness of every human provides opportunities for perspective taking and problem solving to deliver the outcomes. No human input, no economic output. Courage of individuals and organizations to embrace uniqueness and accept the differences is achieved by showing up with empathy to build teamwork for shared success. In this episode, we will explore the importance of understanding, accepting, and celebrating uniqueness with empathy and courage to drive successful teamwork. conversation will include the exploration of the following:💎 Why is it important to start with empathy to deliver success?💎 How can courageously integrating our differences become our superpower for teamwork?💎 What can we do to break through the social stereotypes to allow our own uniqueness to shine?💎 What can we do to cultivate an environment that allows unique capabilities to blossom? It is my honor and personal privilege to introduce Scott Delaney, an IRS professional, poet, and new author. Scott was born in Germany, raised in the U.S., lived in Korea, and travels to his mum’s homeland of New Zealand as often as possible. Scott’s debut book, Elphie Earns Her Wings, is inspired from a childhood where diversity was celebrated and courage, empathy, and teamwork were family gifts. Scott’s message is always: “Difference is strength, teamwork above all, and do good for the sake of doing good, regardless of the consequences” (a message tattooed around his neck). When he is not writing, Scott adventures with his wife Kristine and their two cats, Walty and Jesse. Subscribe!
