The Human Heart

from The Secret Place Hosted by Rise 96.5

This is the fourth episode in a six part series titled "Jesus - Saviour and Example." Go back to "Foundations" to listen to this series from the beginning. In this episode of The Secret Place, Derek shares the story of Peter on the boat, casting his nets on the other side. Through this, the bible reveals the true position of the human heart, that we don't deserve the goodness and grace of God and it would be easier for us to receive His wrath. But God is good, and His kindness is what leads us to repentance, not His judgement. Derek Peters is the Executive Pastor at Gateway Baptist Church in Brisbane, Australia.
