The Hungry Silence
from the Electric Quill Hosted by Stacey
Send us Fan Mail In the depths of outer space, silence is never empty—it devours. The Hungry Silence follows Lira, a black hole adrift in the void, cursed with an endless appetite. She swallows suns, worlds, entire galaxies, yet the more she consumes, the smaller she feels—haunted by the shame of her own hunger. But when a voice flickers across the dark, Lira must face a question she has never dared ask: what does it mean to be seen, not as a void, but as a presence? Woven in the uncanny glow of The Electric Quill, this is a story of cosmic loneliness and recovery, of learning that even in the vast black between stars, there is a place for you to exist—for you to take up space.
