On this episode of The I in Us for 2025 Cody and Paul welcomed intersex advocate Tony Briffa back to the show to unpack two significant intersex events that had just occurred in Australia that week; the launch the Missing Voices Report, presenting findings of an Equality Australia project to obtain hospital records detailing the ongoing practice of performing deferable, medically unnecessary surgeries on Australian intersex children; and, the tabling of a Bill in the Victorian Parliament, that once passed, with make such practices unlawful. Paul, Cody, and Tony also looked back on the year that was 2025, shared some of their favorite shows, and looked forward to Feb 2026 when the world’s only intersex radio show will return and continue to be the voice of our local and international intersex community.
