The idol of the ideal

Disappointment is the ultimate filter for our faith. It forces us to ask the hardest question: Is our devotion to God, or is it to the outcome we demanded from Him? When the door closes or the deal falls through, we discover if we are following a Provider or just looking for a provision. Today, let’s allow our disappointments to shift our focus from the 'gift' back to the 'Giver.
