The Idolatry of Insanity

The Insanity of Idolatry We must appreciate the opportunity we have in life to achieve good things out of service to God. A remarkable fact about dogs is their unwavering desire to be with their master. Whether doing or resting, the noble companions have so great a want to be with their masters that it puts them in turmoil to see the master leave. Strangely enough, this loyalty of man’s best friend shows us something about our own fallen insanity. Dogs have a sane understanding of what is good, and they desire to be in the goodness of their master. The sons of Adam and daughters of Eve, in our sinful depravity, are crippled by an insanity that wants to reject the good. We are afflicted by a disloyal attitude of insanity that wants to rebel against the Master and His goodness.
