The IEC of South Africa has hailed its online registration system for candidates

The Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa, IEC, has hailed its online registration system for candidates as a success despite some glitches. The online registration was a first for the continent as registration for parties and independent candidates contesting the municipal elections drew to an end yesterday. However the electoral commission is now facing a court challenged from Land First Black First, who didn't get that opportunity to register. Tshepo Ikaneng reports..
