LOVING OTHERS FREELY BEGINS WITH YOU.• As human beings, we tend to put limits on the people we want to love. • Selective love is not love. • You can't love well until you have resolved past issues you are dealing with in your own life.2. YOU NEED A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF GOD'S COMMAND TO LOVE. • Loving others is a command. • As believers, loving others is not a suggestion but a command that we can obey or disobey. SOME OF THE RELATIONSHIP IN OUR LIFE. - Our FAMILIES. - Our FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS. - Fellow BELIEVERS in Jesus Christ. • One major hallmark of a true believer is the love shown to fellow brothers and sisters. - The UNLOVABLE - Our ENEMIES. - The LOST.- A GENERIC/ GENERAL COMMAND. 3. LEARN TO PRACTICE, PRACTICE & PRACTICE. • Generally, in life, to get better at things you have to practice. • Love is about action, so you can practice it. PRACTICAL WAYS OF DEMONSTRATING LOVE.-  By CONNECTING with people. -  By BEARING with people. -  By COVERING people. -  When we FORGIVE people. - Through the act of SERVICE. -  By GIVING. -  Doing GOOD.- Through ENCOURAGEMENT. -  By SHARING. -  By LISTENING - Through ASSISTANCE - Through PRAYER. 4.  YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THE PROMISE ASSOCIATED WITH LOVE. • When love is present, good things always happen, and when love is absent, bad things always happen. • You can never be wrong by being a loving person. PRACTICAL WAYS BY WHICH LOVE NEVER FAILS. -  To PLEASE God.-  To STRETCH and cause you to GROW in GODLINESS. -  To CHANGE others for the BETTER. -  To CREATE peace. -  To bring God's PRESENCE into a relationship or situation
