The Immutability of Christ

In this sermon on Hebrews 13:8, Charles Spurgeon teaches that while everything in life changes—wealth, health, relationships, kingdoms, and even our own spiritual feelings—Jesus Christ never changes in His person, His Father's love for Him, His love for believers, His welcome to sinners, or His gospel truth. Spurgeon addresses doubts by explaining that when Christians experience different spiritual feelings or harder times than Bible saints, it's because they have changed (not Christ), and he warns against modern attempts to update theology since the old gospel truths preached by the apostles and reformers remain perfect and unchangeable.
