The Impact of Don DeWelt on the Restoration Movement
from Harbor, Pepperdine Bible Lectures · host Victor Knowles
Victor Knowles This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Don DeWelt, evangelist, teacher, publisher, and unity advocate from the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. Perhaps no man in our movement has done more to preserve sources from the early Stone-Campbell Movement through his College Press Publishing Company, or to call attention to the imperative of Christian unity through ONE BODY magazine and the Restoration Forum, both established in 1984. “He still speaks, although his voice was silenced by death” (Hebrews 11:4 Voice Translation). Hosted by the Jerry Rushford Center for Research on Churches of Christ and the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement
