The Impact of Racism on Healthcare Outcomes

Hello Everyone!Will and I got together last week for an important talk about medical racism. When cruelty is allowed in our medical system, you can believe that it’s going to affect everybody. Will starts out with a chilling story of abuse he endured at a hospital when he was young, and we covered more ground from there.At some point everyone in this country is going to have to wake up and recognize the degree to which inhumanity has been normalized here. Our healthcare system is irretrievably broken and exploitative. Anyone who says otherwise is sitting on some big pharma shares.We’ve just got to start talking about the way white supremacy deteriorates brains over time and leads to terrible acts of cruelty. Our whole nation is founded on this toxic ideology and the sooner we recognize it and start to practice some accountability, the better.You don’t have to ask around too much to find people who have been tortured by the US medical system.
