The Importance of Community

Community is a group of people who share something in common. But true community is more. We need communities where we have regular interaction and shared core values. We need groups that care about a common goal and who care about one another. The pandemic took community away for many people and studies show the detriment that has caused. I think some of the political rancor and shootings are in part because as a society we have lost important relationships that help ground us. We need to reclaim community where we are known and where we are shaped and formed into humans that work for the benefit of the larger good. Support the show
