The Importance of Fathers and Positive Male Role Models

In this episode of the Just Like Angels Podcast, host Janna Johnson sits down with Delton Travis, Director of Just Like Angels Childcare Center, for an honest conversation about fatherhood, positive male role models, and the influence a consistent male presence can have on a child’s development.Delton has been part of the Just Like Angels family for eight years. He began as a van driver, became the after-school coordinator, advanced to assistant director, and now serves as the center’s active director. Janna reflects on growing up with an active and supportive father who remains present in her life today. Some children at Just Like Angels affectionately call Delton “Dad” or “Uncle Delton,” reflecting the love, warmth, and security he brings to the center.
