Our heart refers to the very core of our being. It is the essence of who we are. We are a spiritual being because we were made in the image of God. That is the heart of who we are. Today, like never before, so much exists out there trying to negatively influence what we do, the way we think, and the way we view life. That’s why we need to diligently guard our heart. Many today try to make the argument that no correlation exists between our spiritual status and the things that we feed upon.
