While I want to play you the show notes of this program, sadly, it is longer than 4,000 characters this platform offers for show notes. But I'll put in some stuff about each set to compensate including links. On toay's program, we're featuring new material we got as part of bandcamp friday as well as starting with some interesting facts about one of our artists we played last week. I hope you'll enjoy the program as much as I am bringing it together for you. I hope you will consider buying from these artists and labels. Set 1: This set starts in the United Kingdom, but we don't stay there program long. Steve Tyler has been listened to, and I present you two other artists as we found out he's also a part of Misericordia and Daughters of Set 2: The Brkn Record has two albums out. You'll have to click on more releases and it'll be right underneath it. The featured album we'll play three tracks talks about the continuing black racism that we still hear about in the news. With the protests of George Floyd and others during 2021 and even before, various artists team up with this one to sing about the troubles of what they've seen or even experienced. It consists of poetry and even instrumentals. That album was released in November of 2021. The single track, released in July of 2021 is a track that was released before the debut album. So, we'll have two copies of that track, but its all good. Also in this set, some singles from two existing artists. Set 3: Edward Simon is on Bandcamp. Some of the releases we have through CD Baby, and the one we're taking from is a prerelease but you can buy it right now on Bandcamp. The album is 18 tracks and is a duel project. We also have one of DJ Selphi's newest albums too and start the set with an older album and then play the newer one. 3 from each album. Set 4: Scott Orr is part of Other Songs a Canadian label. There is an album called "Oh Man" which has some studio tracks, the full length album, and even a release that was put up that talks about the album. Besides that, this label has 52 othr releases I'll be checking out. SUB OST is subsound records original sound tracks. We play one by Paolo Vivaldi which is documented in the notes. Set 5: We feature CME's latest collaboration, some I like, others I don't. No matter, you may like them. We also play other music as well across the Magnatune and Bandcamp landscape. Even CD Baby gets involved here too. This will be the last set. For the tracks of the playlist, check my personal blog or the mix blog within the next day or so. Thanks for listening!
