This value is applied in different ways: God receives the Mass with infinite glory, while its effects for humans—grace, forgiveness, and temporal punishment reduction—are applied in proportion to their devotion and disposition. The Mass is considered the most powerful prayer and the highest form of worship, capable of bringing countless graces for the living and the dead.Jesus instructed his followers to celebrate the Holy Mass, which he established at the Last Supper by offering his Body and Blood and saying, "Do this in memory of me".
