The Initiatory Path in Fairy Tales | Part 8

According to author Bernard Roger, V.I.T.R.I.O.L. (the Door of The Temple) is encoded in fairy tales. It is the underground world found deep in forests, the forest's edge, castles, at the bottom of wells and at the location of a transgression made on one of the characters. The "interior of the earth" is more often visited by girl characters. V.I.T.R.I.O.L. means something like, "go within yourself to find the truth". It's about reflection and being aware of your own mortality. It's about finding what is important in life and what you should do with your own life. It's about trying and it's about being honest.
