When your first job is clearing glasses at the age of 10 in the family pub in Cobh, it's not hard to see how hospitality could be in your blood. Aaron Mansworth, MD of Trigon Hotels chats about his international hospitality career that has taken many twists and turns including a long spell in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York and looking after some very special long term guests, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg in a hotel in Cavan. There are three very different hotels in the Trigon group, the 123 year old Metropole Hotel, Cork International Hotel and the Cork Airport Hotel, and as they reopen post the Covid lockdown John chats about his career, the importance of mentors, developing his people and some of the challenges that the industry is facing at this difficult time.
