The Interview Show with Bear Mountain #146

from The Interview Show · host Scott Wood

The band started as a solo project by Ian Bevis (who you might also recognize from another much-loved Vancouver band Top Less Gay Love Tekno Party). After a disastrous solo show at the Cobalt, Ian decided to make the band a full on party and recruited friends. In fact, this band counts a visualist as one of its full time members. When I met with Ian and his twin brother Greg (who is Bear Mountain‘s drummer) the guys were getting ready to head to their sister’s wedding reception, but they still had time to talk about being in a band with your brother and that time they shared an apartment in Berlin with a girl who was dating Greg, but was also was Ian‘s ex. Yup, nothing was off limits. Listen to our crazy chat. Tracks played on the show... 1) Bear Mountain XO “Two Step” 2) Bear Mountain XO “Congo” 3) Bear Mountain XO “Faded” 4) Bear Mountain XO “Sing” ALL songs CANCON
