In our Newest Segment, "The Inventor's Corner" we will have on "The Turtle Fire Systems Nozzle" at 8pm on our Youtube channel. We will have on Captain Howard "Buddy" Hayes with Jersey City FD describing his nozzle and it's capabilities. Capt. Hayes was promoted in 2018, where he spent a majority of his career in Engine 10 working under Capt. Mark Lee who eventually passed from 9/11 related illness. He was instrumental in my career. Wrote his first SOP collaboratively in 2023. The turtle fire system is an under vehicle nozzle that is capable of flowing upwards of 500gpm at 100psi at the device. Can be used in high or low flow depending on the situation and has numerous alternate uses outside of battery cooling. The Turtle is extremely durable, made of 100% US steel. Its unique design allows for full coverage of the EV battery. The pipe that comes with the system is critical to its success as it gives added protection from hose burn through.
