THE INVENTOR’S CORNER EP. 9: THE BOLT RESCUE CHOCK COMPANY

from Gettin' Salty Experience Firefighter Podcast · host Gettin Salty Experience

In our Newest Segment, "The Inventor's Corner" we will have on "The Bolt Rescue Chock Company" Owned by Dave Leporini. Dave started as a volunteer in the West Paterson, New Jersey and is now a member of Rescue 2 in the City of Paterson Fire Dept. From the website.. STRONGEST AND MOST SECURE DOOR CHOCK ON THE MARKET. HOLDS THE DOOR AT A 90. Our chock may be shaped different than a typical door chock or wedge but the difference is stability and reliability once in place. Fantastic trade off vs a wedge, nail, candy cane, or fat Ivan. (They all fall off). PLACED BETWEEN THE HINGE PIN AND THE JAMB. (BEST HINGE IS THE LOWEST HINGE TO SEE THE LED IN BANKED DOWN SMOKE CONDITION). ONCE IN PLACE, THE CHOCK WILL NOT GET KICKED, bumped into by passing Fire Fighters, OR FALL OFF HINGE FROM A HOSE rubbing against it. EASY TO TURN ON WITH GLOVED HAND, CLIPS ONTO JACKET OR SCBA STRAP EASILY. VERY REASSURING TOOL TO HAVE AS A PIECE OF MIND WHEN IN BLACKOUT CONDITIONS. BOLT RESCUE IS A BIG BELIEVER IN TRADITIONAL ASPECT OF THE FIRE DEPT... JUST AS WE HAVE WOODEN AXES, PIPE POLES, AND LADDERS... OUR CHOCK’S LIGHT BODY IS MAPLE IN SUPPORT OF THAT TRADITION( MAPLE IGNITION TEMP IS WELL OVER 400F). We will check it out and give you the straight skinny. 😎 USE PROMO CODE : "SALTY" FOR 10% OFF https://www.boltrescuellc.com/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/gettin-salty-experience-firefighter-podcast--4218265/support.
