The island of flying women (eng)

Everything takes place on a small island of a few hundred souls in Italy. It's a story that has a beginning, lasts a few years, and then ends. It involves all the inhabitants, men, women, children, the elderly, no one is excluded. It involves everyone, yet it is a secret, because who would believe stories about flying women? No one. No one who hasn't seen it with their own eyes. And since only the inhabitants of the island can see them, they don't talk to anyone else about it. All accomplices, as if it were a crime. Until one fine day, suddenly, those women disappear from the island's sky, no one talks about it anymore, life resumes as before. Thirty years go by and a stranger, who, among other things, has never set foot on that island, unwittingly stumbles upon the explanation for everything. Unbelievable?
