The James Cousins Show - Kyle Besing

In this episode of the James Cousins Show, Dr. Kyle Besing, Associate Professor of Mathematics, looks at how the Mathematics Program is integrated into the overall curriculum at Kentucky Wesleyan College.  Dr. Besing talks about how the Mathematics Program helps students get over math apprehension and prepares students for real world critical thinking problems encountered in life beyond college.  Dr. Besing discusses the use of open-source resources within education, curriculum development, and the use of "mastery-grading" in the curriculum at Kentucky Wesleyan College.  Dr. Besing also shares creative ways of instructing students with examples of adaptative learning and the further integration of technology within learning.
