The Jews and The Law: A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 2:17-29 (part 2)

from Larry's Biblecast · host Larry

Hey Everyone thank you for tuning in. In this episode I read from the book of Romans, we learn that Paul addressed some issues with the Jewish people of His day about their religion, how they feel very privileged to have the Law of Moses, and how they have the sign they belong to God through circumcision. It is more important to have the “circumcision” of the heart. In His letter to the Roman church he compares them with the Gentiles who didn’t have the Law nor were they offered the ceremony of circumcision as evidence they were a Jew. These things are not as important than how you live allowing the Spirit to work on you throughout your life in order to show inwardly that you are His Child. Like my Mother would have said “you don’t need to wear a sign around your neck to say you’re a Christian” God Bless Mommy for saying such a remarkable but plain and simple statement. I pray this message blesses you and that you are able to apply this to your life. Please Subscribe and Share. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day 🦃https://cash.app/$blknerd50
