And this pardon has sparked a flurry of conversations inside the White House about whether Joe Biden should offer more pardons on a political basis before he leaves office on January 20th. As Politico is reporting, President Biden and his team are deliberating over whether to issue preemptive political pardons to a range of current and former public officials who could be targeted when President-elect Donald Trump returns to the White House, aided by Republicans in Congress and by Kash Patel as the next potential FBI Director. Of those who could potentially receive these pardons are: Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney, Fiona Hill, and Anthony Fauci.One of President Trump’s earliest nominations to serve in his cabinet was Pete Hegseth, a former National Guard officer and most recently the co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend show. Hegseth’s nomination for Secretary of Defense is currently in jeopardy due to the cacophony of allegations regarding a litany of accusations made by individuals against Hegseth, from sexual assault, to rape, to excessive drinking, to mismanagement, and more. Will Pete Hegseth survive the week?
