Welcome to the very first episode of Lyme & Beyond with Tanya! My name is Tanya Hoebel and today in this episode, I share with you my 13-year personal battle with Lyme disease: starting with a tick bite in 2004, leading to a belated diagnosis after years of misdiagnosis, dismissive doctors, and severe symptoms. A journey you may relate to. Despite moving, treatments, and a diagnosis of mercury poisoning that led nowhere, I eventually received a Lyme diagnosis. My treatment journey took me through various expensive and rigorous integrative treatments, including hyperthermia and detox protocols, eventually leading to remission. However, complications arose again after a traumatic event. Moving to Boise, Idaho, I discovered muscle testing and light therapy, which significantly improved my condition.
