THE JOURNEY OF REDEMPTION: Power in the Blood of Jesus. (2)

from GRACELIFE-COMI · host GRACELIFECOMI- Teach and Preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

GO FORWARD CONFERENCE|| DEC 2024| DAY 5 (part b) | UNDERSTANDING GOD'S MOVES FROM CREATION TO CHRIST| CHIMDI OHAHUNA    The Move of God: From Atonement to Eternal Redemption   In today's episode, we explore God's second operation on earth—man's atonement for sin. This move followed the initial act of creation and laid the groundwork for understanding the ultimate atoning work of Jesus Christ.   Exodus 30:10 instructs that atonement should be made once a year, a practice that pointed towards the necessity of a greater, eternal redemption. Hebrews 9:12 reveals that Jesus, by His own blood, entered the holy place once for all, securing eternal redemption for us. Unlike the yearly atonements that never perfected the one making the offering, Jesus' sacrifice was a one-time, all-sufficient act that accomplished eternal redemption.   This second move of God demonstrated the limitations of human atonement and highlighted the need for a Savior. Jesus’ sacrifice was not just another offering but the ultimate propitiation for our sins, fulfilling what the Old Testament practices symbolized. His blood provided what the blood of bulls and goats could not—eternal redemption.   Hebrews 13:12 tells us that Jesus suffered outside the gate to sanctify people with His own blood, emphasizing the all-encompassing nature of His sacrifice. While the blood of animals could not redeem humanity from sin, Jesus' blood achieved total and absolute redemption.   We learn that redemption is a comprehensive act—purchasing us entirely, freeing us from the bondage of sin. Justification, being declared not guilty by God, comes only through this act of redemption. Through a divine exchange, our sins were placed on Jesus, and His righteousness was imparted to us. When God looks at us now, He sees the righteousness of Christ, not our past sins.   1 Corinthians 1:30 tells us that Christ has become our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. This eternal redemption cannot be undone; it is a non-refundable, non-returnable act that secures our place in God’s family forever.   The journey of atonement, from Gethsemane to the Cross, underscores the depth of Jesus’ sacrifice. Each drop of His blood was strategic, marking locations of atonement and symbolizing the ultimate fulfillment of God's redemptive plan.   Understanding redemption transforms our lives. It empowers us to praise and celebrate God, knowing our salvation is secure and eternal. This profound move of God—the greatest on earth—calls us to live in the light of our redemption, continually seeking deeper understanding and appreciation of this divine gift.   Join us as we dig deeper into the significance of this second move of God, exploring how it paves the way for eternal redemption and transforms our relationship with Him. May we gain a deeper understanding of redemption and live fully in the light of His grace.   LORD, GRANT US A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF REDEMPTION. Grace to you! Jesus is Lord.
