The Joy of Christmas, or Not....

He discusses how you can make the most of your time during Christmas and the new years break! KEY TAKEAWAYS There are lots of tutors who moan about being poor and don’t have enough money; these are the people who usually shut shop over the Christmas holidays. When you close your business over Christmas and come back, you want your students to be excited to come back to your lessons. Some of your students may not come back though. You could just go part time rather than completely shut down. This can be handy as it gives you the extra time over Christmas but also allows you to keep your students on through to the new year. Don’t forget to remind your students 24 hours before their lesson after the new year. If you’re choosing to carry on over the Christmas break, then as your current students if they want extra bookings which many of mine do. The fill the gaps with students that you have on your waiting list. Gift cards for lessons are a great way to bring in extra income over the Christmas break.
