The Joy of Salvation

from The Gospel of Christ-TGOC · host The Gospel of Christ

The apostle Paul said, “Rejoice in the Lord always and again I will say rejoice,” Philippians 4:4.Welcome to our study of the joy of salvation, as we bring our soul-saving lesson series to a close. We want to emphasize how good it is to be saved and what a joy it is to be a child of God and to be a Christian. We hope that you've got your Bible handy and that you'll be encouraged to study with us as we think about this wonderful subject. As you think of about being a Christian and what a great joy that is, the apostle Paul emphasized it so beautifully when he double emphasized the point, “Rejoice in the Lord,” and he said again, “I'll say rejoice.” Sometimes we see people who are Christians and have been Christians for many years, who've yet to get this point. It is good and it is a joy beyond measure to be a child of God. Being a Christian is not a boring or dull life. God's not trying to keep you from having fun. Being a Christian is the best life you could ever imagine to live. We have multiple reasons to rejoice as a child of God.Today we're going to illustrate what some of those blessings and reasons are that the Christian could rejoice and we begin with this one. Christians have joy in their salvation because they have redemption or freedom in Christ. (The full transcript is available in the "Download Document" button above.)
