On this episode of the podcast, Martha Scanlan conducted and co-produced a fantastic, amazing, and very conversational interview with me In Person. This is Martha's fifth time on the show and this is a super special episode that we recorded at Springbrook State Park near Guthrie Center, Panora, and Yale in Iowa. After our introductions, we basically do a combination of Martha asking questions both related to Springbrook and random questions on other stuff, taking a hike on the Tank Trail and Aquatic Life Trail which led us to the former C.C.C. Camp and Conservation Education Center areas (and we ended up hiking FOUR miles just from doing that trail both ways!!), and driving to the upper picnic/CCC Shelter/Beach Shelter areas and resting in those spots. This episode was recorded on Sunday July 19, 2026 and it runs an EPIC 2 hours long. It's one of the TOP 5 LENGTHIEST episodes ever recorded of the podcast!!
