The Juice with Jeff #358
from The Juice with Jeff Hosted by Jeff Duitch
On this episode, we do a really special "Basement Dwellers" program where James Alsup, John Robinson, and I record in the basement of Meredith Hall as we were all students in the Broadcast wing of the J-School at Drake back in the 1990's. This is James' fifth time and John's third time on the podcast. After our introductions, we basically do a combination of reminiscing about all the time we spent in the Meredith Basement when we were students and we took an in-depth tour of all the rooms and how they have significantly changed since our Drake days, particularly over the last decade. I do a fairly decent job serving as the "Tour Guide" for our in-depth tour of the facilities where I basically explain the changes based on what Sandy Henry taught me (during the in-depth tour of the basement that she gave me for the podcast back on October 20, 2023). This episode was recorded on Sunday afternoon July 26, 2026 and it runs 1 hour and 2 minutes long. Our opening and closing theme music is provided by Anastasia Chubarova courtesy of Pixabay. Funding for this podcast is provided by RandomKid, Lee Larue, and Rachel Graham. Enjoy!
