The Kerri Edelman Show Presents Comedian & Author Matt Balaker

from The Kerri Edelman Show · host Kerri Edelman

Matt Balaker is a Comedian and Author who lives Southern California with his two sons and one wife. He has worked in investment funds, independent movies and has been performing stand-up comedy for the past 15-years. His contributions and credits have included The Adam Carolla Show, Thick Skin with Jeff Ross, Comedy Cellar Podcast, Hulu, Conan O'Brien, Can We Take a Joke and About Last Night. He also mentioned that years ago he was on a cable access show, which was cancelled (signaling his undeniable sense of humor). Recently, Matt co-authored a book with Wayne Jones, titled 'Greg Giraldo: A Comedian's Story,' which tells the life story for the first time of the late, great stand-up comedian! The book gives an inside look into the comedian’s life thanks to more than 60 interviews conducted by the authors with Giraldo’s friends, family, and colleagues. They dive into his early life as a lawyer, his success and eventual cult status in the stand-up comedy world and his premature demise from addiction in September 2010 at the age of 44. The book can be purchased at www.greggiraldobook.com!
