It’s IBS Awareness Month and because IBS is so common within the endo community, I’m going to continue with this theme of IBS and endo belly, which I’ve been focusing on over the past few weeks.Now, one of the key causes behind IBS is SIBO. In fact, current research estimates that the majority of IBS cases are really SIBO cases, and as you’ve probably heard about 100 times by now, research estimates that up to 80% of endo patients may have SIBO.
