Mike Woeckener, a content expert, shares his thoughts on adding collaborative tech to your editing process. He says,"it's a really neat way to go because you can actually see the other person typing. And, you know, there may be a little bit of a lag, depending on how quick the internet is where you are. But it's a really good way like, say, you and I were working on a book. And, you know, we could go through and we could edit that thing together. And I could say, well, what do you think about this, and I type something on the screen and go, you know, I like that. But I think this word fits better there. And then you can type your word in that you like and to erase what I just did. And so that's, that's really kind of a, it's a very effective and efficient way [to edit]." Eliminate the back and forth with your editor and look into some document sharing and collaborating technology. You'll get more content out in record time!
