The Keys 107: A Tribute to NBC News Reporter John Noel

The Keys 107 Network offers condolences to the family of John Noel. On December 6, 2012 John stopped by The Keys 107 while driving on the Belt Parkway with his cameraman in the NBC News van on route Brooklyn, New York where he lived with his daughter. He talked about his journey as a journalist, being a father, and living with cancer one day at a time. He concluded with these words: "I always say to people, I don't preach that this is the way you should live. If there is anything you hear me say, or see me do that you find of value take it as your own." John Noel - an award winning journalist who worked as a reporter for NBC since 1998. He is known as a proud man of honor, integrity, and sincerity-even he said he was "lucky" but was also known as the one who could "truly" dance up a Latin storm! I met John while attending Brooklyn College and as I look back, he remained "just cool" no matter where he was in his life - what you saw is simply who he was! Rest in peace-John Noel!
