so welcome to lust for lore podcast where we talk about lore however we want to interpret it it might be a supernatural spooky story it might be a coming out story from my childhood it might be um just gossip that you heard from your hometown it might be just some shit that i want to talk about right now yeah so we'll start with mini lore which i have something you have something to chat about all right okay so we just this is actually pre what's about to become mini lore okay so we're going to the ren fair this weekend in tuxedo new york so there's a i've never been to a ren fair um buckle up so isn't that weird that i haven't though i mean that actually makes this better because you're gonna have a true anthropological experience where you're like what is this like a jester's gonna try to give you a rose to give to like your man or your lady and you're gonna be like can you stop following me i think i've never been because i'm just sort of like it's not our speed no but also like it's like but it's also like not because it's like i'm like i'm like i was told by like a past life expert that i was a fairy in a past life and that's why like things can sometimes be challenging for me in the material world and i was like checks out you're like i've actually been told by a few like psychics and past life experts that i was something i was part of the fae the fae and i was like that's crazy because a lot of people told me i look like a fairy i do but you're like the mirror told me i look like no no but like people told me i claim that energy no i claim that energy no but it's like i've just never felt the need to go there because i'm like you guys look cosplaying but like i am it you know what i mean you're like this is appropriation i am organola bay so please bring a sign that says this i am organola bay so fuck off say stop appropriating my culture well speaking of which okay we actually need to do that absolutely so there's so it's a semi-permanent theme park i don't even know how you explain it it's not a theme park but it's just a rent fair that's kind of just permanently there except in all hell is even because a haunted house exhibit mood yeah which we should definitely go because that's more the vibe but we're maybe going to a sleeping hollow we're going to let everyone know of our whereabouts yeah everyone's hunting us down don't tell the ms a rent fair a tuxedo newark also a place called tuxedo where gays ask me to come to their house at a diner so okay so this is just a little bit of background i went to the rent fair the morning the background is that there's gays that ask me to come to their house okay so i was going to the red fair with two a gay couple mood and we were all at this diner like the one diner in tuxedo and we were sitting and we looked over and we're like oh there's a hundred like older gay men at a table and we're like oh that's cute and then they were like we turned around it was like a real uh hereditary moment where we looked and they were just waving they're like at us and we were like really waving at us like come here come here why do you look like that um i think they're not used to seeing gauze at the dana so they came over and they were like hey what's going on they're like are you going to jimmy's pool party and we're like who's jimmy they just thought because you were days in tuxedo they were like you must come to jimmy's and i told everyone i was like we gotta go and then they were like no no no i'm like if a gay named jimmy in tuxedo newark you're invited to a party up from a diner gay a gaggle of gays at a diner in tuxedo and they ask you to jimmy's pool party and you don't go i'm sorry like i'd fucking want to go i know but i don't drive or i would have said fucking zia should i have a hitchhike with them i never come back you're like he just went with a gaggle gaze at a diner in a car to jimmy's and he never came back that's giving like the first episode of the jeffrey dommer thing where i was like trying to go to that concert and he was like we're gonna go in a second and he like killed him i mean i was hoping i would just have a good one i mean that's probably good you didn't go to jimmy's but jimmy's sounds fun i mean that's also so instead i went to the ren fair which i'm just gonna call ren fair instead of the ren fair then you'll understand where you go so let me start by saying i have a friend whose brother works at the ren fair in san francisco and he says that after hours when i close to the public all of the characters everyone all the actors or enthusiasts rather were playing their character stay in character and just take a bunch of ecstasy and acid and molly can just get fuck fuck but they don't leave character and then they start fucking and they're like you don't sit on the lap and they're like as like a shoeshine and then they're like yeah i'm not joking so my friend was there and she was like everyone's playing in character and people are just fucking sucking and popping molly and in the field in the youth field so i always think about that now when i go to the one time i went to ren fair i always think about that the one time i went to ren fair but it's so crazy to see who goes as a enthusiast so there's a medieval battle and it's the same every single fucking time it's choreographed it's scripted there's people who go dressed up as like the audience like enthusiasts and they cheer it on like they don't know what's happening and they've seen it a hundred times and i can't wait for you to see it because you're going to pee your hands it is the wildest thing i devote my weekends to watching a medieval show pretending i'm in medieval times and i know the outcome but i'm disappointed when you're like no get off the horse come on and you're like this is a scripted thing you've seen like 49 times before and you come every weekend and you're dressed up as a dresser and you know what's going on it's getting like furry it's very furry adjacent but that's probably why i've never been to one because i'm kind of like i was a fairy in a past life and like i don't need you to like pretend that this has happened you're like this is because it genuinely has happened yeah you're like i've been to the bathroom and like you're it's a mockery of my past life to be honest yeah absolutely so that's stop appropriating my culture and it's where like fairy wings and it's how people react i'm going to am i excited and they're going to be like we'll kind of live and be like pictures please you start making a lot of money at the rent fair and you're like no i'm like literally they're making a reign at the rent fair if they i can know i hope so i hope so too well we're going to come back with a report from the rent fair and i'm really hoping we meet people from the rent fair who work at the rent fair who want to come on and we'll just give them the prompt of tell us some lore it could be anything a childhood story when you almost got abducted a ghost story you've had you know some juicy gossip you know you're going to i actually want like rent fair gossip yeah i know so we're going to try that we're recruiting who's a bitch who's a bigger bitch exactly that's what i want to know okay did you hear about this woman in dubai who was arrested at the airport for accidentally touching an airport worker oh my god i was going to bed and she was sentenced to a year and i think she just got out after like six months like literally an american moment so basically oh she's american that's me i'm like that's enough you're like really an american how did that happen she just touched somebody no no this is what happened so basically she went to istanbul like to turkey to get like plastic surgery work done or whatever that's what she wanted to do so she went and she did that and then i think it was a connection flight through dubai for some reason so she was coming back like post-surgery oh my god she like bandaged i think so i don't know what exact thing she got done but basically when she was going through the surgery not the surgery the security line um she had a waist trainer on they were like can you take your waist trainer off because like to walk through the thing she was like okay so she did it but then i guess it had a lot of attachments and stuff and to put it back on she asked the security like she was fine the security woman oh can you help me like get it back on because i guess she couldn't do it like herself and the woman was like no so she had a friend that was like oh can you come and help me and they were like they wouldn't let the friend come back and help her so i think when she was walking through she was kind of like oh okay like i'll just like do it over there and i'll walk through and i think she accidentally touched the like worker like on the shoulder like nothing crazy right and they were like we're getting security like you are banned from coming through like travel at this airport again you're like i wouldn't want to come back and she got like arrested from accidentally like touching this woman because i guess of like the customs because it's like an islam country and she got a year in prison but just accidentally touching i mean she shouldn't have touched someone but it's like that could accidentally happen you're like walking you're like oh sorry whatever she didn't touch her in a way that was like a aggressive she's like honking a boob no no no and she wasn't like oh you don't want to help me with my waist trainer like fuck you it wasn't like that at all it was like she just accidentally touched her and she's been in jail for five months and she tried to spend i think over $50,000 like trying to get out of jail and also bring up the main point recovering from surgery no no no that was my main point because i'm kind of like don't you have to like go to my doctor you have to like take care of that i mean i never had like a surgery that was that intense but i mean i got my wisdom teeth out and i had to go back i had to go back a week later so they could check the wounds were like feeling okay and everything was normal and like whatever i love that i mean might keep this might not i love that dubai like brands itself as like this hyper modern like rich future city and you're like i thank god i'm going through Dubai just got plastic surgery in Istanbul and i'm like i'm wearing a waist trainer and then i touch someone and i'm going to jail and you're like but also like and also the woman was like african-american and it's kind of like interesting to me i'm sort of like that seems racist or weird you never hear about this in any other compound no i mean that just seems like really really odd for that to happen like even if you did that and it was like actually you'd be like okay i really didn't need that i'm sorry whatever like arrested you're like sentenced to a year in prison i mean she got out after like five to six months but still like five to six months in prison i hope her surgery's okay i hope her surgery i don't know what surgery she got but i mean i hope her surgery's okay as well i mean well speaking of speaking of i don't even know how to transition but it's certainly not surgery so i'm just going to ask you this question for today's lore what would you think if seven people went into the woods hiking and only one came out like what would your initial my initial reaction would be like there's something wrong with those woods okay so like you're like channeling out the way i am like you got them all and then there's one i would say something wrong with those woods but also like that person that came out alive maybe something they didn't okay so that there's like a level of okay so either of those things disclosure yeah okay so picture it uh soviet's siberia 1993 august 2nd and the dates will become important so this experienced survivalist in her group of five teenage students uh which is the kamar devon mountain range in siberia okay so it's a it's a woman who's very experienced she's a survivalist and then her students so they called her uh you know she's a taskmaster but she knows what she's doing okay okay so here's the hikers are she is ludmila koronina ludmila ludmila i had a ballet mistress named ludmila really ludmila okay so here's the deal i know russians that's why i do know there's one thing i know it's russians it's certainly russians so i i think it's a gay thing and i'd be curious what everyone else thinks so every four language class i've been in every spanish class up until my undergrad i can't say pronounce languages without having like a gay affect so i'm like ludmila like i have to i can't say it normally sorry that we pronounce it right i don't know what you want us to do and i hope it's not like an annoying and that's on gay rights and that's on ludmila well also it's like i hope it's not know what bye girl it was on my ass you know what go to france and then talk to me exactly go to france and then fucking talk to me how about that so okay okay so ludmila cordina a 41 year old expert survivalist and hiking instructor so she goes with her six students so the six students are alexander sacha who was basically like her son so he's the oldest alexander sacha so she had known him for most of his life she considered him to be his son he was basically her apprentice so imagine he's the second in command this is important okay so the teens are timur who's 15 victoria 16 valentina valia 17 pay attention to that name so valia tatiana 24 and dennis who's 19 denis denis denis so obviously like you know they're going on this they're excited they're going with ludmila and they're going to kamar daba so they ride at the mountain range in morino village august 2nd 1993 so they're like okay we're about to go so the weather it's the end it's august in russia it's the same you know summer ends in august so everything on their trip was supposed to be sunny there wasn't supposed to be extreme weather mild like this is going to be a walk in the woods of course but obviously it's not so the first two days were perfect they walked through there was no trouble and then they basically were supposed to meet other hiking groups one that's ludmila's daughter at a summit but they were so ahead so they were doing fine so on august 4th they were like oh my gosh well we better leave and go to the summit because we're like we're a day or two ahead of the other groups so they start their descent and then this is where shit hits the fan so it becomes so wet and so stormy that all of their gear is wet they're wet it's miserable it's really windy it's really hard to navigate so they're like umila calls in she's like okay here's an open field we just need to set up camp and let's heart like hunker down so it's an open field we'll post a photo of this like you can see all of them smiling next morning so they start they just hope for the hope for dear god they'll make it through the night yeah so the next morning everything's fine so they have a fire um things calm down and so they were like okay we need to go meet the group uh the other groups so i'm gonna tell this story in frank events so cut to later that day um it's natalie lumila's daughter arrives where they're supposed to meet and there's no sign of them so she knew that they were supposed to be there before her and they're not there in the field oh that's where they slept the night before and then they were like they did that and then they were had a brief walk to a point they didn't make it to a point so her daughter the other groups are there and they're like where are they okay so this is on august 5th they started on august 2nd so cut to august 10th there's a lot of days i know but it's gonna yeah so this is gonna make sense so just summary they started on august 2nd they were supposed to meet on august 5th and on august 4th is when the weather thing happened yeah yeah so cut to august 10th so we got from august started okay a group of kayakers are paddling down the river and they see a girl a teen girl naked washing her hair covered in blood just staring at them on the side of the river like wringing her hair out in russia that's extra scary that is in russia so they keep going just also like they're like what like everyone's just like silent they're like weird flex but okay well but also like wouldn't you be like in the middle of the fucking kavajaban matins you're like i don't know all right i mean i think you'd be like if she's not asking for help i think i would be like moving along sweet they like look she looked disturbed and we'll see what sometimes you gotta protect yourself i love that they were just went through and then they're like wait a minute wait a second something's not right yeah so they turn around um and they go approach her and see that yes that she is covered in dried blood um so she broke down in tears and is hysterical for lack of a better word um and so what do they do they offer a coffee with vodka and thank god for that like how magical you're like covered in blood traumatized and somebody the group of guys like we got it here i mean the most russian thing i've ever heard and also like the best thing i've ever heard um especially like after i would personally love that oh yeah i would naked covered in blood who knows what you've gone through hair and it's like this is coffee and vodka i hope there was a little like cookie involved i hope there was a cookie so apparently um okay so this is where things get crazy they took her to the police and this is where information is conflicting i read some things where it's like she's not she didn't speak for like days or weeks after they like take her yeah she's like freaking out and they're like ma'am obviously like have some vodka and they're like we're gonna take you like sir this is a one yeah exactly so they so i don't really know kind of what the timeline is after this point after such a timeline but according to her so she's the one who came out all right what so this is circling back to my initial questions what would you think so the group set off in the mountain the morning after so they had a fire after the crazy storm on the fourth the morning of the fifth they were like okay let's go to the group and see uh with mila's daughter natalia etc so they were walking in a row and out of nowhere the back of the line sasha so with mila's like second command of like her son started screaming um and everyone turned to see he was bleeding from his eyes and ears screaming frothing at the mouth and then he fell to the ground convulsing and went still so imagine like all the ones that you see like ah and then it's like someone's bleeding and frothing and you're like like out of nowhere nowhere i don't know everyone's fine i have no idea like what happened so ludmila obviously is like what the fuck sounds like poisoning okay so we're gonna go into this so ludmila ran to his aid not me you know so ludmila was like what the fuck's going on everyone's like what the fuck's going on she ran to go see him and she was obviously deeply distressed this is like what's under her and she began having the same symptoms she began screaming blood began from her eyes she was frothing at the mouth um and then she told the group like before all decided to keep going and then they heard her scream they turned around she's bleeding frothing at the mouth like convulsing on the ground so they found her bleeding from her eyes and nose uh shaking uncontrollably so tatiana the first to run to ludmila uh began exhibiting the same symptoms and began grabbing her throat as if she can't breathe like yeah and then she made her way to a nearby rock and bashed her head in repeatedly until she didn't move anymore like she like bashed her own head she went like i like started bleeding frothing scraping her throat and then just found the nearest rock and just started repeatedly bashing her head in until she bashed her head in okay things aren't looking good for that blood-covered girl right now um i know well we'll get to that so dennis took her behind a rock while tamir and victoria ran away so valia the one at the river covered in blood was left um basically it was like all of three of her closest friends were just dropped dead in minutes of each other in the most terrifying life so but then she's like okay like at least i have victoria and tamir no victoria and tamir collapsed while running and did the exact same thing they tore at their clothes coughed up blood and clotted their throads until they stopped moving okay so then valia and dennis are the ones who are not obviously doing that uh they ran from the area and then i'm sure they were like you know just processing all this and then dennis collapses starts bleeding from the eyes or the mouth it does the same leaving well yeah uh so our blood-covered girl with coffee and vodka certainly needed in a canoe slash kayak slash whatever yeah and like this and also like in the woods for doing shots of vodka naked covered in dried blood being like spasiba i mean that's the best possible scenario for like also you've been in the woods since the fifth but honestly nude yeah okay okay um she like freaked out obviously left her friends behind with only a tent in the clothes on her back so then she rushed back down the mountain and put the distance between herself and found power lines and she was like i'm in a way by the power when somebody's going to come help me uh so she set up camp and then four days later we enter the river and then the kayakers so what do you think happened i mean this is what i think okay so you remember there was that family that dropped dead on the trail mom dad yeah two kids and then the dog and they all dropped because of the spores i would think maybe okay it could be maybe something like that but the fact that she's the only one that has survived and she's covered in blood she was also trying to help her friends like who are all bleeding that would make sense i mean i guess that could make sense but it's sort of like the spore thing doesn't make sense it sounds like especially with the esophagus thing how they can't breathe i mean that sounds like cyanide or something right so there is a point okay so you suspect just based on like this account yeah yeah it's poisoning just i'll play for sure okay so even though police uh police report was filed it took them the police until august 24th to find the bodies and so this is what they this is what they found nationally we know suffered a heart attack okay the rest um had bruised lungs and it was determined that the death was a protein deficiency resulting from starvation and extreme hypothermia it was concluded that their deaths were accidental hypothermia and everybody starts bleeding from the eyes and frothing it out at the same time like honey girl it's giving like johnstown massacre yeah it's also giving like what the fun hyper hyper hyper hyper hyper hyper but i'll say let's talk about like the russian police like do you think that's maybe the most like uh what's the word uh ethical ethical justice system this ever happened no also I mean I'm not an expert and I know it's foul play so you think it's foul play in some capacity I'm not necessarily saying it's this girl right it's not um but you're the only one honey I know well but it's a horror movie where you're like I can't even begin to explain what just happened and no one is probably gonna believe me so you have the survivor's guilt on top of so okay so your theory is poison okay I'm gonna start it's hypothermia it's like I keep reading these accounts it's like they all just had hypothermia I'm like in what fucking world just everybody have hypothermia and just starts bleeding from the house it was also like okay at that point it wasn't like a bad it wasn't like the weather kind of clearing up and okay at that point so if it was August 4th so the night where they had the weather happen and then they didn't get up on August 5th and hike I would be like and they found their bodies in that field that would be hypothermia I'd be like okay I'd buy that the fact that they're like they have a fire they're like we're going to meet Natalia oh that's not literally and then they're shaking their heads ready to meet Natalia going down the damn mountain not whistling and then within minutes it's also just like the fact that it's all happening so quickly that's what's weird I mean granted I've never seen anyone die of hypothermia yet in my life but I don't think it happens like that so I'm crossing this off the list of theories I don't think so I also don't think that I know Russia obviously gets very cold but I'm also from Canada which is at a certain like latitude on the earth's surface and um August is fine yeah so also it's like the weather there's a lot of questions so this is the first theory I narrated them to two theories but they haven't concluded it no this is like well they conclude that what I just read through the hogs okay so Ludmilla suffered a heart attack and died of hypothermia the rest died of starvation protein deficiency um and hypothermia so I'm gonna start with the craziest theory is mushrooms oh they ate like poison mushrooms that'd be true Lord Ludmilla is a skilled forager she taught everyone the craft so they were like willy-nilly picking mushrooms and that they might be eating toxic mushrooms causing hallucinations and sickness so this is where I'm like I'm out of the mushroom theory they're like mushrooms can cause an individual hallucinates hallucinating seeing others cry blood um I've done my fair share of mushrooms I don't know but they're saying psilocybin they're like maybe they got some shrooms you're like maybe she saw them like no but there's like but there's there's mushrooms that are like not that they're like oh my god yeah I was never allowed to eat mushrooms growing up because my dad was a kid ate them from the backyard had to go to the hospital yeah I mean they're not like they're not like the ones like the psilocybin it's like they they're whatever you're gonna get fucked up you're not gonna cry blood but maybe the other ones maybe you maybe it was something that was like longest I can see poisoning like we're living off the land like we know how to survive and then you're like do you um I mean honestly it's like one less reason to go on a hike I mean we do a lot of like hiking caution caution yeah we're literally getting several reasons we're like propaganda against hiking we hate it one more reason you're like to get a sexy cocktail at the Plaza Hotel and not going to hike and then like you're like figure she's off and dance to pussycattles on cam yeah like personally that's obviously profitable uh yeah no hikes for us yeah well I mean at least like a little date like when it's when you spend august 2nd to august 5th that's when things go wrong so this is the most interesting which is going to cover up is that there's a nerve agent in the soil because think about all the weapons testing that goes on so they're going to choose somewhere rural so they're going to choose somewhere in the covado mountains so the fact that all of their what she's describing is so consistent with chemical weaponry nerve agents that they figure that maybe this was a testing site and that the rain um from the night before basically is causing it to evaporate even though if it's um you know it's maybe been five years five months and that it's causing in these certain areas uh so everyone's running to each other so think about that so they might have not exhibited symptoms until like maybe they're running in certain areas and then they have it so maybe those certain areas how come this one girl but this is the thing it's like maybe she just got lucky who knows so it's interesting because what happens is um novich novachuk guess novachuk guess is a class of nerve agents created by soviet russia up to 1993 which is a year of it's giving chernobyl right so they're thought to be the deadliest nerd agents to exist being 10 times worth x where's the most more deadly 10 times more deadly than vx which i'm like i don't know what that means and 20 times more deadly than sign and i don't know what that means but i presume i'm pretty bad i think it is getting terrible it's very terrible so novachuk agents are reportedly tested in that area um right where they were so exposure causes a rapid death similar so i think that obviously they're not going to own up to this and they're going to say hypothermia but the lore is and have you heard of dalatog paths no okay what is that i'm going to save this for another episode okay because it's similar where a group of hikers went up this mountain they were never heard from again um agents went in and found all of their bodies in different disarray like arms missing some of them others frozen and in their tent with limbs missing yeah like summer like it's like it's wild and this is the lore of this is nuts so i think i'm gonna do this another episode from their tent it's been cut from the inside like in the middle of the night they had to in the inside like all of them are crawling out so something's happening so there's something the lore of this particular subduan region there's something going on and this is also maybe something they shouldn't have seen if they saw something or there's nerve gas why do you think you're in an area also where there's not a lot of human activity and you're all by yourself you're in the woods or you're in the mountainous regions um it's not good it's not good you know when this is a psa to stay on the woods not going to hike well okay so the other the only other thing is that she might have a break i just want to just say one thing like i know you're gonna like continue with the story i just want to say one thing no the story's over i don't want to go on a hike well when i don't like after hearing all of this i'm good i mean seriously a cute swimming hole that's fine you know but even that like you're like i drive the line at a cute swimming hole but even then i'm like no you're not i'm like we drive there you're like we go back to the channel i want a vehicle to get the fuck out like i don't want to be like parked and i have to walk somewhere like two miles to get to somewhere no no no no no well no girl this okay and then i'll close it with this lore because this is terrifying have you heard like i'm gonna say it like this is something i've sent from somebody i know okay he went hiking in the appalachia it's related to our other episode you'll be the judge okay so she went by herself okay uh she might have been in the kubarak down mountains she might have been in appalachia she's basically just in the woods she went by herself and the people were like don't go by yourself like obviously obviously don't go by yourself for like a month's long hike are you dumbass control like get a fucking like literally you're dumbass at least get a dog or a boat something get a skinwalker a donkey a protective dog i'd have like a ween and a donkey a ween on top of a donkey but a ween would not go this is why i need a ween because a ween would be like a hike absolutely not because we both like would like a creative dog that's like um i would like to luxuriate and i would like to absolutely not do that i want to see you come back to the plaza and fall on your face and know in the morning like you're gonna be here and you're not gonna be like people are gonna be theorizing about your death our biggest hike is um off town to the plaza so okay this woman went on a hike and she had a disposable cameras so she's like taking photos for height she's by herself she's like empowered she's like i love this it's like six months living herself so she goes to get and she'd seen like maybe three other hikers who were doing a trip like on and off every week so she goes to get her photos developed and what does she find she finds that one of the cameras is just photos of her sleeping months at multiple campsites i think i've heard about this this is a lore so the question is is this true but this is enough to keep me from really never sleeping outside this is um enough to keep me off the trail i the last time i went camping i couldn't post sleep i was gas on mushrooms b um i was thinking about this story where i was like honestly somebody knows the
