The Kiara Garcia Interview.

How do you create music that is playful and catchy while still telling an honest story? Las Vegas singer, songwriter and producer Kiara Garcia joins Vigilantes Radio Live to discuss her new album, Ocean Pearl, and its upbeat pop single, “Obsessed.” The playful record explores what happens when someone becomes a little too invested in another person—romantically or platonically—while maintaining a fun, flirty and danceable energy. Kiara explains how she structured Ocean Pearl like a musical storybook, with songs designed to reflect different emotions and seasons of life. She also discusses the creative challenges and opportunities of writing in both English and Spanish, blending pop, R&B, hip-hop and reggaeton, and creating music that reflects every side of her identity. The conversation explores her journey from singing at 14 to producing her own records after realizing that other producers could not always capture the sounds she imagined. Kiara also shares how her mother’s massive CD and cassette collection shaped her musical curiosity, why she values creative control and what it means to make music that leaves listeners feeling happier than they did before pressing play. This episode is a conversation about joy, identity, artistic independence, healthy boundaries and the courage to create without allowing expectations to limit your sound. https://music.apple.com/us/artist/kiara-garcia/1244469119 https://open.spotify.com/artist/7K0xXVSPFr4N98rhCvg7lc?nd=1 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFZ64ptfV0u3SbjkQwl3U2A https://www.instagram.com/kiaramusicofficial Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/vigilantes-radio-live--2166168/support.
