On the regular season debut of "The Kickoff" - your host Harry Broadhurst, Brandon Biskobing, Erik Watkins and Jason Teasley return to the format that took the W2M Network by storm last year. Opening with 'Studs and Duds', we talk about the best and worst performances of week 1 of the college football season. 'So That Happened' focuses on Colin Kaepernick and Le'Veon Bell. 'Buy or Sell' brings discussion about three different topics, one each for college and the NFL and a third focused on both. 'Get it Together' returns with our callouts of those who need to step their game up. 'Are You Serious' is the prediction segment and with more set rules to lead to a season long battle. In addition to all that, the guys welcome a new segment to the show. 'Pour One Out for the Homers', as the personal team bias that we've been accused of before gets turned into it's own segment where we discuss our own favorite college and NFL teams. An interesting debate sparks there as this week in the NFL season opening weekend, the Jacksonville Jaguars (Erik) travel to New York to play the New York football Giants (Brandon and Jason). Plus talks of West Virginia, Miami, Penn St and the Buffalo Bills as well. All that with all of the wit, banter and ego that you've come to expect as we present "The Kickoff" here on the W2M Network.

What is far less clear is what this means practically, in terms of organization and elections. For many years, the slogan of the Left has been to work both “inside and outside” the Democratic Party. But what does that “inside” part actually look like? The podcast project comes from our experience as progressive activists--and from the urgency of now. Dick Flacks taught sociology at UC Santa Barbara and Umiversity of Chicago for 60 years. He's of the founding generation of Students for a Democratic Society and helped write the Port Huron Statement (along with Tom Hayden and the big Lebowski). He and hi
